Job Title: Technical Service Representative
Location: Southeast USA

This is the first level entry within the Technical Services area. Position performs basic on-site installation and general maintenance tasks on technology products as well as trouble-shooting issues. Responsible for providing general technological support of electronic and mechanical equipment and parts within the Atlas product lines and other products as defined by the business. Additional responsibilities include record keeping that supports maintenance requirements. Position demands heavy travel within an assigned territory.

Essential Duties:

  • Majority of work schedule is related to on-site field technical support within assigned rotation preparing for an assignment as a Technical Services Representative.
  • Work experience will involve the Atlas specific techniques related to Atlas product line.
  • Scope of assignment will include utilizing Atlas specific technical resources and software application.
  • Decisions typically involve prioritizing basic tasks
  • Resolves routine questions and problems and refers more complex issues to higher levels.
  • Extensive travel required.


Qualifications:

  • AA degree or near completion or vocational technical school electrical or mechanical certification and 12 months technology work experience or training required.
  • General working knowledge reading and deciphering schematics.
  • Proven mathematical aptitude algebraic and statistical methodologies applicable to problem soling client needs.
  • Proficient with MS office applications and capable of navigating through systems.
  • Refrigeration experience desired and technical certification in progress and past experience working with high voltage equipment and electrical devices required.
  • Valid drivers license required.
