Electronic Reporting Capability Enhances Customer Experience
CHICAGO (March, 18, 2002) - Atlas Weathering Services Group (AWSG), a division of Atlas Material Testing Technology LLC, a global leader in weathering testing, services and technology, today announced a new customer-centric, technological advance in its service offering. Effective immediately, all AWSG customers will have the ability to receive electronic test reports, allowing them to track results more quickly and efficiently at no extra charge.
AWSG currently serves over 2,000 clients in 40 countries. Comprised of a staff of trained scientists, engineers and technicians, AWSG is providing broad expertise and an ongoing commitment toward the improvement of existing services and development of new test methods for their clients' increasingly sophisticated needs. As part of its commitment, AWSG is now providing electronic Portable Document Format (PDF) test reports to its customers. Previous reporting techniques used by AWSG, and still used by others within the industry, consist of a paper-based method, causing difficulty in both data extraction and storage. The universal PDF format of reports provides a painless transition into the digital world, allowing customers to extract, store and sort data more efficiently than ever before. Test reports can now be sent via e-mail on AWSG letterhead, complete with digital signatures. Further easing the pain that is often associated with such changes, these electronic reports are identical in format to the paper reports customers have been accustomed to receiving.
