Atlas Material Testing Technology Ltd (Atlas MTT Ltd) moves to a larger space, June 14th 2005
Atlas MTT Ltd, formerly housed in Kings Meadow Oxford, has officially completed the move to its new 5000 ft² facility in Bicester.
The new Atlas facility is situated seven miles northeast of Oxford, and only five minutes from the main London - Birmingham M40 motorway giving excellent links to London Heathrow and Birmingham International airports.
The new climate controlled Laboratory contains Atlas' Ci Series and Xenotest® xenon high-end instruments, SUNTEST table-top units, and several Atlas fluorescent devices. The lab will also house a number of enclosed/sunshine carbon arc instruments making it the most comprehensive carbon arc testing facility in Europe.
Further expanded services include the ability to bring seminars such as the 'Fundamentals of Weathering' and Instrument workshops in-house.The increased space will facilitate Atlas MTT Ltd to gain ISO 17025 accreditation in addition to their BS EN ISO 9001:2000 accreditation.
The office and laboratory moved in April 2005 and our UK team did a fantastic job especially as the machines were up and running within 3 days!
The grand opening of the new facility on June 14th 2005 was attended by William W. Lane, chairman of Atlas MTT LLC, the Operation Committee members of Atlas MTT LLC and the UK colleagues.
