Atlas MTT Ltd. presents the new SUNTEST XXL at the Interplas 2005 in Birmingham

Linsengericht / August 1, 2005 - UK's leading exhibition for the plastics and rubber industries, the Interplas, is being held between 4 and 6 October this year at the NEC in Birmingham.

Interplas is the established exhibition brand in the UK, fully endorsed and supported by the UK Plastics and Rubber industry. A triennial event, Interplas is the showcase for all the elements of the polymer industry - design, materials, production, machinery, testing and quality control.

Atlas MTT, which offers an extensive range of weathering and light fastness testing instruments designed for the plastic and rubber industry, will be exhibiting in Hall 5, booth 5754.

Amongst our variety of state-of-the-art weathering and light durability products, we will introduce our newest SUNTEST XXL flatbed exposure system at this year's Interplas.

Being the largest member of the Suntest family - a line up of testing devices, considering all challenges of light exposure (covering basic needs with the compact model CPS as well as mid sized challenges by the model XLS) - the Suntest XXL will offer a large variety of testing capabilities such as:

  • 3,000 cm2 exposure area

  • Touch screen control and colour display

  • Simplified programming with up to 10 user-programmable tests, each with as many as 12 phases. Dynamic disk space allows for the storage for at least 10 pre-programmed tests

  • Real-time display of all test parameters and trend plot: irradiance, Black Standard Temperature (BST) or Black Panel Temperature (BPT) and Chamber Air Temperature (CHT)

  • Irradiance control at 300 nm - 400 nm, 340 nm, or 420 nm

  • Specimen spray (XXL+ only)

Furthermore Atlas will exhibit the "little brother" of Suntest XXL, the Suntest CPS+ which offers 560 m2 exposure area, a keypad control system with 2-line LED display, and the capability of monitoring and control of irradiance, Black Standard Temperature as well as monitoring and displaying the Chamber Air Temperature.

And last but not least the Atlas UV 2000 will be shown. The UV 2000 meets and exceeds test requirements for ASTM, DIN, ISO, JIS and is qualified for testing coatings, plastics, pigments, adhesives and other materials for their reaction to UV light, temperature, and moisture.

All instruments and test products are compliant to today's global test specifications, including ASTM, ISO, BSI and others. For more information on Atlas products visit us at booth 5754 in hall 5 or have a look at www.atlas-mts.com.

We are looking forward to your visit!
