Atlas Offers Freezing/Cooling Option to Meet Testing Specifications
New -30°C - LN2 Freezing / Cooling Option For CCX Advanced Cyclic Corrosion Cabinet
Atlas offers the largest cyclic corrosion testing cabinets in the world that will now offer a new Low Temperature option. This will enable the CCX Advanced Cyclic Corrosion Cabinet to perform many additional tests, especially those required in the automotive, aerospace and telecommunications industries, as well as the military.
The option lowers the minimum operating temperature of a CCX cabinet to
-30°C. When combined with the High Temperature option, a CCX cabinet now has a temperature range capability that spans a full 120 degrees on the Celsius scale from -30°C -to +90°C. The ability to inject LN2 also assists laboratory testing programs by reducing transition times from high to low temperature.
A laboratory corrosion test cabinet can replicate natural and manmade stresses that result in degradation including salt saturated air and salt spray, high humidity, condensation, temperature extremes, acid rain, and vehicle exhaust.
The CCX cabinet will be displayed at NACExpo, March 12-16 at the Atlas Material Testing Technology Booth 208.
