DIN-Pocket Book 400 Weathering Now Available
The DIN-Pocket Book 400 Weathering is now available through the German publisher Beuth (www.beuth.de). It is the first book published that contains standards regarding natural and accelerated weathering of coatings, plastics and textiles. Furthermore, it covers common standards regarding the evaluation of samples exposed to weather.
It is an essential reference book for those involved with designing, specifying, evaluating and testing of products than can be affected by exposure to light, temperature or moisture. Important standards include, but are not limited to, DIN EN ISO 11341:2004-12 for coatings, DIN EN ISO 4892-2:2006 part 2 for plastics and DIN EN ISO 105-B02 :2002-07 part B02 for textiles.
The book is only available in German. The international standards ISO 4582, ISO 4892-4 with amendment and ISO 9370 for the testing of plastics are published in English.
