BMW buys 3 VIEEW™ Digital Image Analyzers
CHICAGO, July 2001 - Atlas is pleased to announce the installations of 3 VIEEW™ Digital Image Analyzers in the automotive industry. BMW in Germany has selected the new flagship product of the Atlas Analytical Instruments Group as its instrument of choice to evaluate surface defects for automotive materials applications. Working in close cooperation with this leading car manufacturer, the VIEEW software was customized to meet the specific needs of BMW. The systems will be installed in the BMW branches in Munich and Dingolfing.
The VIEEW system allows laboratory personnel to analyze surface structures quickly, precisely and with high reproducibility and repeatability. Its combination of an ingenious optical system and intelligent, teachable software makes VIEEW an indispensable tool for the objective inspection of surface defects.
