
Atlas operates its largest accelerated weathering and lightfastness testing laboratory in Linsengericht-Altenhasslau (LA), Germany. This lab is ISO 17025 accredited and features a variety of xenon, fluorescent, and metal halide weathering devices, providing laboratory conditions that reproduce the clients' end-use conditions as closely as possible.
Atlas' LA Laboratory can meet most accelerated test methods from corporate, national, and international standards organizations such as ISO, ASTM, DIN, EN, SAE, FAKRA, GM, Ford, VW, Renault, Peugeot, Nissan, JIS, JASO, and many others. This lab also offers testing in equipment designed to meet the requirements of full component testing according to DIN 75220 (e.g. the testing of vehicle instrument panels).
Atlas' LA laboratory operates seven days a week and is fully equipped for optical property and physical evaluations using the leading measurement instrumentation technology. Managed by skilled staff who provide the highest level of service, this lab utilizes more than 40 different weathering devices.
